Transportation
A city spread across 200 square miles, Albuquerque has grown and prospered through its ability to provide affordable and reliable rural, suburban and innercity transportation.
A significant piece of this vital transportation hub is The New Mexico Rail Runner Express which provides intercity transport between Albuquerque north to Santa Fe (with four stops in Santa Fe), with additional stops at Kewa, Sandia and Isleta Pueblos, as well as south to Los Lunas and Belen. ABQ Ride (operated by the City of Albuquerque) provides Rapid Transit and local bus service throughout all of Albuquerque’s neighborhoods and districts, as well as to and from the Albuquerque International Sunport, which welcomes over 5 million travelers each year.
